I was fascinated by the book at first. Theres a lot of things i agreed with about following your dreams, having courage, trusting your gut etc.
But the more i read, the deeper i feel sexism is getting, also the profound philosophical things theyre talking about are now beginning to sound like mumbo jumbo dookie. Still i wanna give it a chance and read til the end cuz its not that long anyway...

Awesome murder mystery so far - Im about a third of the way through and there have already been so many crazy twists and turns. It mostly keeps you on edge, which just makes you wanna keep reading more and more, or youre finally given some space to breathe, only to be hit in the face with another shocker a few lines down. I also like the writing style, I found it hella goofy at times, had a good laugh.

A simple story about the lives of regular people, yet so enthralling. The depth of the characters ropes you in, and the development of Sentaro is really satisfying. Im loving it, the only thing I dont like is that sometimes the dialogue is incomprehensible, but I assume its probably because the translator tried to be as faithful as possible to the Japanese text.
