Time to get back on track for the sci-fi book club. So far I'm enjoying her observational skills.

Wanted a cute lighthearted themed read for this week approaching Halloween. Haven't read a romance in awhile and generally not interested much anymore, but the premise sounded interesting without romance so I'll just take it as another layer.

Finished The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. It's interesting to get to parts of the story I haven't encountered before or seen referenced much in other media.

The first book was part of the Elle Cordova Sci-fi book club I joined this year to get myself back into reading, the 5th one and I believe was for June (I'm behind but joining this club was more to take decision paralysis away from me and introduce me to new stuff in a genre I generally like.) Of course after finishing it though I want to read the rest of the stories so an omnibus seemed a good idea.

Another book I picked up when I wasn't quite ready to read again. I read the 120 pages I did read in a sitting, but then just didn't pick it up again since then even though it'd be quick. Like the other book though I think I'm still going to read from my bookmark just to get it done. The series deserves a re-read at this point but I want to finish once first.

56 chapters in. I have been slowly picking at this since 2021. I have been in a book slump for awhile and was only reading this series at a recommendation from someone I respect but my love for reading was still in a slump. There is nothing wrong with the story and I actually enjoy it but I had no drive to read in general. That has changed this year and I hope to finally finish this as well.

Short read, didn't even realize how close I was to the end till I had to check to update this. Got it for free from Phoenix Picks and I have the second book waiting.

Finished the first part by Anderson, starting the second novelette by Savile.
