Sydney is still grappling with grief, and her mother puts her in a grief healing camp where she meets Leo, and they bond over their harsh times with their sexualities. With this, her bond with Olivia is strained, and I predict they will fall out. They get into a spat looking for clues. Sydney realizes, "Thing will never, ever be the same between us, and the sooner we realized--she realized--the better" (Brown 179).

The plot starts out right away keeping me shocked with the sudden death of Sydney's father, which leads the plot into her skepticism and believing someone killed her father, keeping the plot interesting. I predict Sydney is going to go through her father's physician documents to try and find the culprit to her father's death.
