Haven’t been able to read much, but I’m so ready to knock out 20 pages real quick before bed.
(Night reading is the best, but not for sleep)

I don’t usually read any type of slow burn at all, so for reference this book is slightly leaning slow burn for me.

With that reference, I’m dying with how much I just want for them to get together.

How do slow burn readers do this?!?!

It’s very likely this isn’t actually a book but instead a place to pity Wren. The fact that she is watching the bridle be used on someone else is heartbreaking.
But what do I know? I’m only mortal.

Immediately captivated my interest in the world of Elfhame after finishing The Cruel Prince trilogy so long ago. Glad to see that we’re not being fed Jude and Cardan and following new(ish) charecters.
