I can’t help but feel empathetic towards each character in the book and accepting that they’re flawed. The way the novel flowed is exceptionally satisfying. A page turner that every novel wishes they were. The mystery is gripping and yet if I’d turn to the last page and find out who that is, I’ll missed out on the best parts - the different characters in it and the role they each play.

I don’t get why it’s a classic and a must read. I mean when I first started it already felt like I had to tolerate these snobbish characters in order to tick off a list that’s sitting far too long in my bookshelf. If I had to bear with them talking Greek and complaining about people spending all their money one more time I’m done with it. I genuinely don’t care about the outcome anymore.
