The upbringing of the main plot had me a little lost as I’m getting used to “older” written English but I really like it so far! I like reading on how things were while I don’t agree with them.

Still enjoying it but as I progress I wish that the language in it was better. Then, to bounce off that I think it’s perfect because it’s meant to be a teen writing to who knows what and this is how he’s saying it. This is how he’s feeling it, from his day to day Charlie isn’t going to use crazy words or comparisons, he’s gonna say what feels right to him. Idk I thought that was important to comment on!

So far very good! I love the style it’s written in, I don’t think it’s not too often that you see diary entries rather than chapters. It’s a very related book to my teen years and I think that’s why I chose it. It reminds me of first semester sophomore and freshman year of high school.
