So far this has slightly ominous feeling. She is telling the story with some hindsight. It's a sad situation for her, I feel it would be tough.

So far I am loving this! The house is seriously creepy, and alive! A great twist, not quite haunted house but more cosmic horror. I like the main character, although her mom is annoying.

Getting good, nervous for all the characters as I've grown fond of them!

So far so good, really enjoying this and it's just ramped up.

Compelling read in terms of the horrors of survival. Am finding it slightly slow.

Pretty slow start I think - wondering when it'll get going.

Loving this so far! I love all the references to why Javier and Harry both fell in love with horror. Fantastic touch! I like how it is represented, the old way of thinking about horror. That it invites the devil into the home - a very common belief about horror. In this way, the book seems to be not only telling a story but also horror as a genre story.

An odd collection of stories so far but as ever, beautifully written.

Good YA book. Enjoying the characters.

What a sad start to the book. My heart goes out to the main character Leah, how she is treated is awful.

Love this so far. It's slightly different to her other books but not in a bad way. The characters are cool, the setting is atmospheric and the stitcher is just creepy as.

So far, the writing is quick and straight to the point while giving a good visual picture.

Loved the first story, definitely adds mystery when a screenwriter goes missing and rambles on about a book he keeps in a wooden block. The second one is intriguing and getting creepier and more bizarre.

Just finished haunted. Have already read 'bad moonlight' so will skip that one. Next up is trapped.

I'm actually going to DNF this one.

In the book when Jenny went to the hospital, they talk about another girl Becka who gets sent home early. I wonder if it's the Becka in the fear street book, my best friend? It seems so. That is a cool crossover.

Still interesting, but dragging on now.

Absolutely enjoying this one. It's hard to put down. Love the main character, and pacing. Also, it could be so many people.

Just started this. So far it's so easy to visualize what is going on, writing is fast paced enough and straight to the point.

So far, it's quite an interesting idea.

I am giving up on this one. The stories aren't about Halloween at all and drag on.

That first story is very dark and disturbing - but written in such a suspenseful way that I could not put it down.
