PREDICTIONS: I think that Chase will come back to being friends with all of the video club kids, after their little incident. "I miss them and I hope we can be friends again" (pg. 201). Chase is feeling lonely after also having an argument with his former friends, Aaron and Bear.

POV: The point of view for Restart is 3rd person omniscient. All of the character's thoughts are in different chapters. This explains what goes on in a character's minds. Page 1 states "Does this mean I'm dead- Chase", while Page 13 says "I exit messages and call Joel because I'm worried about him -Shoshanna". Here are just two characters talkiing through their thoughts throughout just 13 pages.

PROTAGONIST: The protagonist is Chase Ambrose. Chase fell off of his roof and woke up with amnesia. "I remember falling. At least I think I do. Or maybe that's just because I know I fell" (pg.1). Before, Chase was a school superstar, jock, and a bully. Maybe he will change since he won't remember anything about his former self.

SETTING: The setting of the Hunger Games is the nation of Panem in district #1 where the arena is. It seems to be in approximately the year 2100. "I wonder, to live in a world where food appears at the press of a button" (pg. 65) In the current era we are in there is no button like that. Technology isn't advanced like that just yet in 2026.

GENRE: The genre of Hunger Games is fantasy. It states "Our district is nicknamed The Seam" (pg.4). There is no such thing as the seam or a nation called Panem. I like fantasy, because there are no boundaries to how futuristic and crazy things get!

QUICK UPDATE: Katniss is playing in the Hunger Games. She was a tribute and is playing instead of her younger sister. In the Hunger Games you have to kill other contestants and be the last one standing.
