Alma Herrera > Recent Status Updates

I would reaallyy like to finally be done with this series after reading it for the past couple years. (I’ve only picked reading back up recently after reading the series on and off) I can hear way of kings whispering sweet nothings into my ear, telling me to finally start it. However, I cannot bring myself to DNF this after I’ve come THIS far to finishing this.

I’m liking the main character and setting so far. I can tell the book is just picking up. I’m very excited to see how the book continues since this seems to be many people’s top book on their David Sodergren lists. Plus the dialogue lets me practice my awful Scottish impression. (Seriously though, the dialogue is super fun)

So far so good. Lots of mysteries and questions. Wish the pacing was a little bit better but I hear the the second half/ending is pretty good so I’m quite excited!
