This is going to be one of those things (a la Peter Pan) where I definitely enjoy the modern re-imaginings more than the strict source material.

But considering how many discussions we've had in the office about the actual source material, I basically have to read this. XD

The introduction in this translation is CHONKY.

I usually love Ilona Andrews books, but this one is starting super slow for me. I'm not sure if I'll continue or not.

I have been grabbed.

Honestly, I didn't realize what a slow burn this was. I checked my progress and was shocked to find we're nearing the end.

I'm feeling the cute romance vibes. Here for it.

The number of books I've picked up lately that have writers as the main character is wild. I don't know if I can do another one.

This is not my usual type of book, but I guess it goes to show you that you never really know the read you're really looking for

I think the pacing of this one is a little too slow for me.

I love the writing style but their chemistry isn't popping for me, and I feel like the last two books were dual POV? Did I dream that? I def wish we had the MMC's POV on this one.

I am intrigued.

I don't know if this is for me, but do I keep reading it for Book Club?? Jury's still out.

This was the book club pick, but so far, I'm not really getting a warm fuzzy about it.

I am loving this.

I think I'll probably finish this, but most of these scenes only have a single character in them, and it's not really holding my interest as much as I would like.

I'm having a tougher time with this one. The character voices and chemistry aren't popping for me.

The next story in the Kinsmen Audible Bundle. Apparently this was written on a dare, so I'm curious. XD
