I am fighting the urge to stop reading this book! The writing is great, just what helps a memoir come alive; however I can’t help but feel this book is a little pages too long. The last chapters have important moments that shape her story but it’s a little drawn out.

I’m going to say I finished this book because I owe it to myself based on how long I tried to finish it! The reviews are true- not quite sure what the plot is, and I’m glad I wasn’t alone with that thought. I did enjoy the inside look of working at a busy NYC restaurant and the culture that comes with it…
