I have studied this collection of songs repeatedly. Over the years I have studied other recordings and honed the skill of audio bird identification both recreationally and professionally.
It was interesting to review this recording after so many years and remember first learning the calls.

I love to reread this every few years to re-experience Darwin's mind. I am no longer surprised by the conclusions reached, but it is nice to reacquaint myself with Darwin.

This is an excellent story about a group of several young people and a wolfdog that catch a newly engineered virus that causes them all to become briefly ill, then mutate into a pack. Each person develops wolf-like talents and the ability to communicate tele-pathically with the others in the pack.
