i genuinely don’t understand how senlinyu achieved this. they must have access to like 150% of their brain because the amount of research and knowledge and just sheer INTELLIGENCE it takes to write a book like this?! and to think it started out as DRAMIONE FANFIC?! i am floored. and i genuinely have no idea how this is going to end. i am hooked. addicted. plain and simple.

so obviously i’m not done yet but i think this might be my favorite book of the year.

i’m really trying so hard not to be too critical, but this is literally just a rinse and repeat of BJ and Magnolia. Joah is acting out exactly like BJ acts out. his internal monologue is so damn similar. Jessa needs to take some time to come up with original ideas 😭

i think i’ve read too much jessa hastings. i’m trying really hard to get out of my own head and not get annoyed this early on at her prose (because she repeats the SAME phrases and storyline it seems in every single book she’s written since MP.) bc i want to enjoy this one!! also, really going to try to not be too picky about typos. mildly annoyed that Joah’s internal monologue is written in a british accent

cmon girls, get his ass!!! also it’s so obvious that the author wants the bad guy to be Mormon

this book is alllll over the place. but i don’t hate it? although the spice better pick up soon, its severely lacking right now
