Took a 6 year break about 50% of the way through this one and picked it back up. Not really sure why I put it down, it’s really good!

May abandon. Such a slow burn and losing interest fast.

Slow burn. Basically nothing’s happened, but I’m getting invested.

Only picking this up because it was recommended to me constantly on Goodreads. Such a delight so far! The algorithm has me pegged.

Not really feeling it right now. I’ll try reading it the next time I check it out at the library haha

Really enjoying, very cool and eerie. I’m locked into the plot. Just decided this might be a “formatting” book like House of Leaves so tearing myself away until I can get a real copy of the copy (not via Kindle) so I can have the full experience. Would rec so far :)

Found this book while trying to find a sourdough cookbook and thought the premise was charming. Very cozy book so far!

The first half is incredible. But I’m at a point where I know everything is about to get so totally sad that I can’t convince myself to pick it back up. Will finish one day when I need a good cry.

Read about 100 pages and felt pretty meh about this one. Dnf’ing for now

Listening in the car on my way to work! Enjoying it so far. Picked it randomly b/c I recognized the author name. Wish it wasn't virus-y given the current day-and-age but interesting anyway

I love this so much. The only reason I haven't already finished is that I need to set it down sometimes to really digest it. Despite listening to the podcast, each essay still feels fresh. Can't recommend enough.

The first few pages of this book start of super exciting. I had forgotten what it was supposed to be about when I opened it, and I'm loving it. It looks like the whole book is a letter to a lawyer from a prisoner who is innocent. Great suspense!

This book does the same thing with "miseries" as Frankenstein does with "wretched". I get it. You're sad. Just vary it up a bit!

I really wish you could down-vote a book in the Goodreads Choice Awards. Sometimes, I will have only read one book in that section and hated it.

I just don't vote, but I think, "I hope that awful book doesn't win!"

I need to stop checking out books from the library that I don't have enough time to read.
