Not an easy read and pretty mystical at times.

Good book. Terse. The right/left nomenclature is messed up: sometimes it is the cut and sometimes the leg position that indicates sidedness in the description and that is confusing.

Great names. Very….tedious writing. Too much like a religious tome, by far too many persons acting and doing stuff….impossible to keep track of.

A masterpiece. Thesises have been written on this book, and rightly so. Almost 200 years have not made this any less relevant a study of relationships gone wrong. Chapter 18 shows a study of mean character and manipulation that will remain etched on my soul for as long as I live.

Fantastic hardcover edition of a timeless classic I finally get to read for the first time. Hard to put down.
