Aargh! Similes from just pages 22 and 23: “can be compared to forecasting the weather,” “like the first light of dawn breaking the night darkness,” “like trying to catch a butterfly in the wind,” “like leaves changing color in the fall,” “like an unexpected summer heatwave,” “like a mountain climber uses safety ropes and harnesses,” “like a storm passing and leaving behind a calm sky.”

P. 203 “… moss mohair child’s chase…” should be “chaise.”

On p. 41: “Tomates” trailed up simple bamboo poles…

“Keep in mind that bedside lights don’t have to match, scones and pendants save space on nightstands…”

While scones are great on nightstands, I’m pretty sure they meant sconces.

“24 to 27 inches: ideal height of a nightstand (but just keep it 5 inches higher or lower than the top of your mattress).”

I think she means “keep it within 5 inches higher or lower…” because that’s what is shown in the photos, and that’s what looks good.

Oops! “…for a queen-size bed, go for an 8 x 10 inch rug.” I didn’t know they made them that small.
