yeah the pacing is my main gripe with this one (so far at least)

based on reviews & my library hold almost being up i might dnf lol

ugh it’s definitely a pacing AND pov issue. the characters are just so… okay lol. i’m so annoyed cause so many people love this book ughhhhhhhh. i’m gonna keep reading but stuff needs to happen soon!!

the first chapter made me cry. wtf. —it was a weird start (i’m learning that i’m very particular about first person pov) but i’m into it now!! i really hope this novel balances the romance and familial relationship between the mc & his son well!!!
