This book reminds me of “Roughing it In The Bush” by Susanna Moodie which outlines her toils and experiences on the Canadian Prairies.

I also find it difficult to get through and have read and put it down so many times and I believe I had to start over once. It is well written but I’m not an engaged reader with this.
