Well the first two chapters are mostly author being vastly wrong about European history. I just started chapter 3 and author claims that the Pilgrims and Puritans are two different religious groups. Which is wrong, same crazies just different (literal) boats.

Trying to decide if I want to finish. If the author is getting this much information wrong, how can I trust what else she has written?

Honestly? I’ve read better fanfics written by teenagers. The tenses are all wrong, and it bothers the f*ck out of me. Characters keep on popping up that have nothing to do with the story so far, and I can’t imagine they’ll appear again in anyway that continues this story in a meaningful way.

Also, the author comes across as judgmental and arrogant which is highly distracting, and not very professional

I will finish this book 1)because I borrowed it from the library & 2) there is some good history in there. But the author likes to repeat facts and phrases to such an annoying extent that I have to ask if this book was professionally edited at all.

I have great respect and admiration for Senator Tester, and that may be because we’re both bred and born Montanans, and he speaks in a language I can understand.
So far, I’ve enjoyed it immensely and confused as to why it’s not on the best seller list?

It’s a curious mix of casual racism and frank fact. Not too sure how to take it so far

...as a greenhouse worker for over ten years I can tell you this isn’t a beginners guide so far. This is a beginners guide if you want to grow award winning cannabis.

Growing things isn’t as difficult as this guy is making it sound so far. I would put this at intermediate wants to grow tomatoes for the fair type of advanced.

I worry that people who haven’t grown professionally would find this overwhelming.

It’s the most beautifully written horror novel I’ve read since Toni Morrison’s “Beloved”.
