DNF I read through the first book and noticed it abruptly ends with no further explanation then the next book is about entirely different characters. Not a fan even though I was invested in the first books character build up.

I'm late but finally decided to read this book. I was told not to watch the movie until I read it because I all the people who hated the movie didn't fully understand because the didn't read the book first.
