The author needs to learn "show, don't tell" because why did they describe the entire backstory and premise of the book in the first five pages. Zero suspension or buildup just "yeah humans are sold as meat now because _, _, and _." Also why is he randomly having a flashback to the entire history of the human meat processing industry on a random morning when it seems to have been happening for a while now??
