To my delighted surprise these are really a collection of romance stories! With some cozy crime and wacky adventure thrown in! They still contain her excellent, clever twists. But the overall mood is one of sweetness.

The stories in this collection are so fun! More lighthearted than the other Christie stories I’ve read.

The first story, “The Listerdale Mystery,” is one of my favorite Agatha Christie stories now. It’s surprisingly sweet!

Finding this a little overwritten. And I’m usually an appreciator of purple prose! I love the density of Henry James! Idk
