I didn't want to read ahead.
I didn't want to read the volumes out of order, either.
But the previous book went missing when I was halfway through and I'd become attached to the characters and had to have a "fix."
The second half of that previous book has some good stuff in it -- I can tell from where we pick up in this one.
Glad to be in the universe; frustrated because I can't fill in the gaps...

I left my book on a table at a restaurant and when I returned, it was gone! I deeply enjoy Hal's adventures and have ordered another copy of the book. No updates until it arrives.

Blown away by this book, my introduction to K-drama!

Many societies do not permit "graven images," some fearing that a painting or photograph could steal their soul. Hill writes a variant on this superstition in "Snapshot." "Loaded" is anti-gun propaganda. Tent pegs. All the characters are disagreeable in "Aloft"; before the story ends the reader may be willing to push them over the cloud's edge personally.

Mrreows? Really? and all the other changes that make me wonder if this is really set in the Pern I first read about in the Harper Hall books...

Trying to slow my reading speed down to prolong the enjoyment of reading this volume.

There are 16 pages of preface material. I just finished that.
