This book was mostly about the hero and heroine having a petty party. They comforted each other by sleeping together. They both became rich and then got married.

The hero is a pathetic weak broke crying sniveling alcoholic drunk coward. and a horrible gambler.

The heroine is too dumb for me. She is destitute, her mother needs medical help, their cottage is falling down around them, and she is lusting after the hero, a Duke. He asked her to marry him, and the dummy said no.

So far, the hero is a disgusting conceited ass. He is having menage a trois and insulting the poor heroine publicly.

I find the heroine to be disgusting. She believes that her beloved cousin was raped by the hero when the cousin was 15 years old but yet the heroine is lusting after the hero and is allowing him to take liberties.

This book is dull but I'm trying to push through.

I'm sick of the heroine, she cries way too much.

I can't stand the hero. The first time he met the heroine he didn't remember her. The second he met her he didn't remember her. Then he made assumptions about her and got angry with her and called her a liar.

Not a fan of the hero. He is married to the heroine and he's in love with his mistress who is also married. He totally ignores his wife while carrying on an affair with his married mistress.

The hero is a dunce. He can't look at his own estate books and tell that the numbers don't match. He also doesn't know how to go about finding a new estate manager.

I don't like the heroine. I think she is a whore for kissing her best friend fiancé.

The hero is a snob and he's trying to redeem himself.

Three short stories. Not bad.

The heroine is stupid. She abducts the hero, who allows himself to be abducted, because she believes he got her sister pregnant. The heroine also allows the kidnapped hero to kiss her even though in her mind he's got a baby in her sister's belly and the plan is for the sister and hero to marry. The heroine falls into an icy pond and is rescued by the kidnapped hero whom she allows to roam around freely.

The hero is described as a useless spoiled entitled milksop clueless whoring drinking gambler. When the heroine first laid eyes on him she even noticed his soft hands and bet her father that he wouldn't last long on the farm. But the very next day she describes him as muscular and tanned. If all he does is whore drink and gamble all the days in London, how pray tell is his body so muscular and tanned?????

I'm not a fan of the hero. He is now only a courtesan he's also a whore. He will have sex with anyone anyplace weather he gets paid for it or not. He also has a filthy mouth.

The heroine is careless, irresponsible and a damn nuisance. She allowed her mother's berries to get moldy by putting them in a wet basket. Her mother needs these berries to make pies to sell for income. She goes out to pick more berries, but instead in picking them and coming right back, she is lollygagging and get her foot caught in a trap. Which causes everybody extra work to come to her aid.

The heroine is selfish and lazy. She is a country miss, not gentry, she has no servants, so she is expected to marry a county dude, so she needs to know how to cook. But little miss selfish lazy doesn't want to learn.

The heroine is a busy body. She needs to mind her own damn business and allow the hero to court whoever the hell he wants to court, whether it's for money or love. None of the women like her anyway, they think she's beneath them. The other ladies don't even care that the hero is a fortune hunter. They want a titled, young, handsome husband. If the heroine makes a nuisance of herself, I'm going to quit reading.

Not a fan of the hero. His days consist of drinking and whoring. responsibility is his kryptonite.

The hero is jealous of the heroine, because she is a famous author, and he sucks at writing. He is also a hypocrite, because he wants to expose her for being a liar and a fraud while he is lying about his identity. I probably will not finish this book, because it makes no sense to me. The hero has no proof that the heroine is a fraud, so there was no reason for her to go to Egypt.

So far, all the men in this book are arrogant aristocrat bastards. They sit around gambling and wagering on who is going to marry which debutante in order to get her dowry so that they can gamble it away. Disgusting young bored titled lords.

I am not feeling the heroine. She promised to take care of her 16 year old brother but instead she is living in a room at the hero's house, sleeping in a soft warm and cozy bed, eating like a pig, and having sex with the hero, while her brother is living in a rotten cold hut with unsavory people, and mice, sleeping on the floor with barely anything to eat. She is one selfish bitch who made herself the hero's whore.

The hero and the heroine are making out in the woods when she just saw a dead body in the lake.

So far, this book is ridiculous. The hero thinks that the heroine, who is a vicar's daughter, killed his sister. He has no reason or evidence to back it up. He also believes that the heroine helped her best friend to kill her husband, with no evidence other than the are friends. Like I said ridiculous!

The heroine and her sister are whores. The hero is trying to do the right thing, but the heroine just wants the D. Her sister is pregnant for some dead-beat lord who does not want to marry her.

I hate that the hero keeps mauling the heroine because he thinks she's just a gypsy. And I hate that the heroine is unable to resist him.
