Darkness on the edge of town is about a forty year old and her sixteen-year-old daughter who take into their bush home a stranger who crashed her car not far from their house.
In an attempt to help the stranger, they both get involved with some darker aspects of the stranger's life.
I did not enjoy the book but suprisingly held on till I completed reading it.

I am your father. That cracked me up. The book was ok, hence the four stars.

I will be honest with myself, I did not enjoy the author's style of writing. She seemed to assume the reasons of other peoples behaviours alot.
I just had to give 1 star for this, I had to be honest.
