The book was engaging but I didn't like the random and vivid digressions about the zoo and the war..I liked it more at the beginning. Murakami is clearly an overthinker like I am 😂. I would have loved the book had it been a 200 page book...Some times it jus dragged on and on for no reason...

S Singh is finished with Into the Water

This was the worst (so-called) thriller I have ever read. It was so slow and tiring that it took me a year to finish it. There were so many. The writing is good but I was expecting a book that always had me wondering and stopped me from keeping it down and succeeded in keeping me up all night. I always fell asleep whenever I read it. So I thought okay half of it I would listen on audible.Even that didn't help.
