This book is moving so slowly. The descriptions are endless. The story is fine/good but just daunting in how slow it is moving. I'm kinda mad at how long this is (700+!) for, as of page 305, no great reason.

What is with these randomly bolded words? They are driving me nuts.

Chugging along on the audio book. You know how Seinfeld is a show about nothing? This is a book about nothing.

I'm tutoring a student who wants to learn about American culture. should be interesting for me, too!

I guess I've read this before but I can't remember it. Reading it again...for the first time.

The author reads the audio book version and it's (almost) intolerable. Not sure how the story is because all I can focus on is how terrible the reader is.

2015 Reading Challenge: A book that takes place at Christmas.
Cute idea: women of a town go on a Christmas strike. They refuse to do anything Christmas related and make their husbands do it so that the can see how much effort the holidays are.

2015 Book Challenge: a story that takes place in your hometown. That's right, folks, nothing says hometown pride quite like the true story of the town psycho who killed her nine children.

So far the first story, The Transfer, is nothing new if you've read the Divergent series. We meet Tobias and Marcus and go through his choosing ceremony. It's basically everything we read have already about from Tris's POV so it feels repetitive.

I don't remember why I added this, but it's on my list and will be my 2015 Book Challenge: a book at the bottom of your to-read list

listening to this in the car. hopefully I don't cry as much as I did with the first one. that would be weird.
