Things are really starting to ramp up now and getting exciting (although I’ve been really enjoying the story up until now anyway). There’s mystery, political intrigue and power dynamics at play, so I’m interested to see how this unfolds.

So far, this is just an okay book. Nothing exciting or special, just a simple story with a few corny moments sprinkled in. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that though. It's nice to read something very easy and lighthearted like this once in a while.

And so it begins... I finally caved and got this book because I was feeling ALL the FOMO and I really hope it's as good as everyone is making it seem because I need a book to obsess over right now. Crossing fingers that this is it lol

Desperately in need of some light reading after finishing The Night Circus and this is hitting the mark perfectly so far! :'D
