Great book. Just what I was looking for.

Finally finishing this. It's just not as good as the others.

This is a great book though it feels like a high school word problem. It'sgreat.

This is a different book. The author chose to invest about 70 pages in outlining the life of the supposed antagonist and leaving the cops and Will Trent alone for a great amount of time. I've never seen that done before in paperback mysteries. It's quite a gamble as I am close to losing interest, but I suspect there is a huge payoff coming.

this book is nothing like the TV show. It's a hard core mystery/procedural. Pretty good.

There is something funky about the way the sentences are structured in this book and it is very distracting. It seems like words are left out.

Restarted after almost a year. I've read four or five of these Bruno books and they are become way to repetitive. Moreover, this one is preachy.

Good information, but the writing suffers from too much explaining sources.

I'm about 200 pages into this and for the life of me I cannot see why I'm reading it at all. I'll keep going for a little longer, because I hate not finishing a book.

It's getting a lot better/exciting

There is a reason this is a classic. It's superb.

I started this year with the goal to read The Iliad, The Odyssey, and the Aeneid. I’m about half way through with the Iliad and I’m a bit befuddled by it all. Not by the language, or the setting, or even the violence, but rather the pettiness of it all.

This book starts out great and then loses its way. It turns into -- becomes obsessed with -- a romance that drags on and distracts the reader from the horror at large of the titular Beetle.

I understand why this book has been a hit for some many eons. Even so, Axels constant whining and the professor's constant stubbornness gets old.
