This book keeps showing a lot of promise (and having hot sex scenes) and then throwing in things like the heroine giving her lack of sex for a year as a reason why her pussy is so tight, and having another character say that reverse sexism exists. smh.

I found the misunderstanding more bearable than I thought I would, but still it was fairly contrived. That said, these two are super cute, and I've enjoyed seeing them together. (The bit about the hockey romance novels was a tad too tongue in cheek.)

Hmm, not a fan of this (what I assume to be a) misunderstanding. We'll see how it plays out...

Bit of a busy week at work, so I'm only getting around to this week's chapter now. I enjoyed it a lot! Fire emojis off the charts. I kind of felt like they fell into bed a little fast, but that's the nature of a novella over a fully fleshed out novel. Still, I'm totally on board with these two!

Y'ALL MIND IF I SCREAM?

It was great seeing Josephine get outside her comfort zone this chapter. I love her and Pepe together, they are SO CUTE. I'm super into this.

Not my favourite chapter so far, but still a lot to like. I'm really enjoying Pepe and Josephine, and I'm hoping we'll get to see them outside the tutor/tutee relationship soon (I'm so bummed she didn't go to the party, lol. Hopefully there'll be others).

Chapter 2: Very cute! I'm already really into Pepe and Josephine and I'm excited to see them interact outside their normal tutoring session next week. I love the implication that Pepe has been talking to his teammates about Josephine, and I can't wait to see how they embarrass him at the party.

Reading along with the serial in Sarina's newsletter. I'm super into the concept so far. I was a little turned off by Josephine's attitude towards Pepe being ESL. We'll see if that's going to be part of her character development (hope so!)
