The part with General Nolan kind of broke my heart a little bit

I'm already obsessed, I love Dawn and Gabby as characters so much!

I'm really not into this book, I don't know why her mother is such a drama queen and the plot feels a bit scattered in places

This copy from Netgalley is awful. It's missing letters

I'm struggling to like this I won't lie. I expect it to get better.

Why has their Dad not come to see them before they go into the Deep? Obviously he knows by now, all the Mer know. Wouldn't he want to see his two kids in case they die, injured or not? I really dislike their Dad tbh putting the new family first

I really don't think people understand how much love I have for Jem in this book. I really really love him, like my heart is breaking for him.
