Charlotte is starting Fascism: A Warning: A #1 New York Times Bestseller on the History and Threat of Authoritarianism to Democracy
I did not finish this book. Honestly I had to duck out when the author wrote about ‘the dream an aunt of a friend of mine had’. It has been a struggle to get this far and frankly I’m relieved to concede defeat.
I appreciate how informative this book is, told from the perspective and experience of one of the best to do so, but I did not find it an engaging read.

don’t read this book if you have any form of eating disorder.
My gods, I love Carrie and I wasn’t expecting a politically-correct all-inclusive telling in the second of her memoirs, but I’m only on page 29 and it’s fatphobic AF.
I don’t know when she wrote this but she also uses ableist language that I really though we were over that by the publication date.

Just started. It's not a happy beginning. I hope it has a happy ending.
