I roll my eyes a little every time SJM emphasizes that Nesta and Gwyn are closer than either of them are with Emerie. Nothing against Gwyn or Nesta, my problem is solely w Sarah for making that writing choice. Especially when she doesn’t follow it up w Emerie having, say, a good family, or other friends, or a mate. It just feels like SJM’s way of pushing her to the side 😢 She deserves to be someone’s #1!!!!
