Naomi
is finished with
The Sound of Gravel
I don't usually read memoirs, but this book attracted me from the synopsis and I found it a superbly written story and one that frustrated me with the lack of protection for the children.

Naomi
is finished with
The Knight, Death and the Devil
Excellent book. The only negative comment I could make is maybe it made Goring too human at times. Who knows. Maybe he had his moments, but what he ended up doing was an atrocity.

Killing Jesus: A History
Just started to read it and so far I like it historically. But I am in the middle of Knight, Death and the Devil and find it so demanding I will finish it first and then go back to Killing Jesus.

The Knight, Death and the Devil: A Novel of a Life Corrupted by Evil
Wow! How World War I started. Did not realize it was the Russian Cavalry that didn't back down. Herman Goring is a fascinating character. I am learning so much from this book. It is also a bit scary. I truly can't put this book down.
