Day 7 of 31 days of Halloween, although not horror. Still a great read; love the pacing.

A perennial Halloween read and definitely in my top 10 favorites. Second day of my 31 days of Halloween!

Starting off the 31 days off Halloween with a favorite. Because dolls are already creepy enough as they are, but even more so when it's a haunted doll!

Struggling with this one. I'm having trouble warming up to Tom, who comes across as passive-aggressive.

I really really had high hopes for this, but at this point only stubbornness is keeping me from dnf.

It's all about Alex and his grief and it's starting to look like the whole book is nothing but how he can't get over Theo. That's the whole point of this book, and it's getting tiresome. When do things move on and be about Alex and Marcus, or this supposed mystery, as the blurb suggests?

I've been struggling with this book and reading it in starts and stops. It's just moving too slowly for me.

I'm struggling to turn the page. Struggling and so close to this being a DNF. I just can't deal with Travis. Ugh.

I'm about a quarter of the way in, and it's killing me not knowing what's wrong with Sebasrian.

Charlie Cochet, you had me at "Prologue." I'm hunkering down for an evening of good reading, snuggled under a thick afghan with a cup of cocoa at hand. Oh yeaaaahhhh.

Don't even get me started on Celia Hughes and her manipulative ways of trying to talk to Tracy to convince Brecki. to marry her. WTF?

Oh Jesus, it's too painful to read. I just don't like Tracy. He's naive, annoying, and wtf he's telling Brecklin to marry the girl. Since when is he the one to make that decision for other people? Kick him to the curb, but don't decide for others what they should do (which is my pet peeve, and that's why I hate Tracy for this).

These two are the king of misunderstandings, but I love them anyway.

Oh sheesh, he doesn't know what a kettle is??? Really?

Grrr... I got the Nook HD+ recently, thinking that the more gigabyte it has will fit my expanding library, which was practically overflowing in my old Nook Color. Stupid thing wouldn't connect to Calibre at first, but now it's showing two of everything AND won't delete the older books I dragged and dropped before I got Calibre wireless. NEED MORE WINE!

To the kind stranger who stopped to help jumpstart the car on this cold December day, when everyone else just passed me by, thank you very much! I am now in need of a nice broken-down car/hitchhiker m/m story or an earlier chris hemsworth/tom hiddleston fic of similar plot... because the kindness of strangers should be celebrated by m/m stories and hot chocolate.

Happy Thanksgiving! Though this year has been fraught with problems and heartache, I am thankful that I've been given such a wonderful family to lean on in good times and bad. What are you thankful for?

I've been crocheting lately and all of a sudden I remember this snupin fic I read years ago ahout Snape knitting as a form of therapy for his hands... this becomes an obsession to find said fic. I could have sworn I saved it on delicious, but I don't remember the title, just that he knits Teddy a blanket. Driving me nuts!

Good God, it rambles on and on and goes around in circles like you wouldn't believe. Ok, so Mark and Quinn are attracted to each other... yada yada yada... there's no need to draw it out anymore with meaningless stuff. Let's get to the good stuff already!
