Great read about the history of India and Pakistan. Another recommendation for understanding the history of world events.

What a fascinating read so far. I can only read so much at a time because the book highlights the violence between India and Pakistan as they both gained independence.

A little slow at the beginning, almost half way through the suspense started building, will finish tonight while watching football.

I have been reading this book for awhile (listening while walking). Now I have to finish soon because I promised my Teen Librarian I would read a YA book by his annual review this month. Seriously, who has time to add any more books to their to read list!

What a fascinating story - a long walk through Siberia to escape a labor camp. I am amazed at the mental and physical strength someone has to accomplish this feat and wonder if there is anyone today who would have that courage.

This book was quite different for me, not the usual romance but of course I loved all the snow. The female character was overly depressed and suicidal but most readers would guess why half way through the book (as I did). Language was too crude for my taste.

This book has been on my to-reads list forever. When I finally started reading, everything seemed familiar. I realized I started this book a year ago in Broward County but never finished the book because I moved to Omaha!

Okay, now that the election is over, I can continue reading. During the last week or so before the election I needed to lighten things up with a historical romance!

I am listening to the audio while moving from Florida to Omaha. Now that I have arrived, I haven't yet listened to the end. I am still waiting for the part of the book that makes it so popular. I now see why some readers do not like the characters, since I am not fond of any of the characters either.
