Rereading this book via the audio version of this book.

It's taken me a long time to read this book. I keep putting it down, and have concerns where the series is going based on the summaries of the books after this one.

If you've seen the "I Claudius" series on PBS, you will enjoy visiting Claudius again in this book. It provides more details than are possible on a TV series, and covers Claudius' life from Caligula's assignation to his death. And, with Derek Jacobi narrating it is a joy to the ears.

I understand the frustration fans of this series have experienced with this book, and I believe I understand why Ms. Winspear wrote the book as she did.

This is another example of Patricia Briggs' fantastic writing & story telling.

Yes, LE is in this book

I'm enjoying this book, but not as much as previous books in this series.
