Had put it down but with Mantel’s death decided to try again. I am so glad I did! It’s very weighty and detailed so I force myself to slow down- I love it.

I am in shock and so disappointed that I cannot ( or will not) finish a French book!
I even purchased it and was so thrilled when it arrived. Toby is unlikeable and I just don’t care about him or his thoughts. I miss the Dublin characters- what a shame.
