Oh my gosh!! I LOVED this book. I would give it 10 stars if I could. What a story- both the story from “way back when,” and the one told in the late 80’s. The stories are obviously intertwined, and kept me craving more. I checked out the audiobook from the library, and the readers had to be the most amazing voices I’ve heard. I was mesmerized. I cannot recommend this book enough! Thank you Lisa Wingate.
