Her writing is so rich, like a heavy dessert. You can't just scoop spoon after spoon or it will be overwhelming; you need to take small bites and savor the flavor. I can see why it is not for everyone, but I enjoy her prose.

Another book where I think I'd like to have the hardcopy. Although such a neat idea, the mix of 1st, 2nd and 3rd person narratives weave in and out of each other, and can be a bit confusing to follow, and I wonder if it would be easier to follow in a written format.

Slow going. Very slow going. I'm determined to see it through given how many people have recommended it.

I wasn't going to pick up a hardcopy of this thinking I'd be satisfied with the audio book. But I really love the writing style. The descriptions of everything. I want a copy to browse through for inspiration.

Finished, very rules light, abstracting equipment, money, combat pretty much works like any other skill check with monsters just having a progress plant (clock) that you need to tick down with successes to defeat. Looks like a fun time with the right group.
