Trying so hard not to devour this in one go. Savoring it.

So I'm liking this a bit more than The Martian, but it feels very much like The Martian 🥴 I made the mistake of watching The Martian first, not knowing it was a book and then reading it and I HATE when I do that. Wasn't going to make the same mistake this time.

There was a quote in chapter four that had me like 😲😩🤤😌

😭😭😭 even sort of knowing how things are going to go doesn't take away the immense ache. Poor Aster 😭 Poor Molly 😭

I know, I know. I just got approved for this beauty TODAY and I have nine other ARCs staring at me like this 🫩 one of which publishes next week. I read the first chapter of this and my heart hurts so bad 😭 I don't know if I'll ever recover from this or from the fic it is adapted from.

When they're "just friends" but she can tell that he changed his cologne and that when he smiles it feels like he's kissing her. Okay 😏

This is slow moving for me. It finally started to get intriguing.
