I heard so many amazing things about this book that I wasn't sure what to expect. And yeah, actually, it is really that good. I'm obsessed with the science babble, the experiments, how much this guy cares about his students, and the narrator's voice! And Rocky <3

i wasn’t sure what to expect but i’m just as swept away by this version as the other. i’m actually loving the worldbuilding which is the part i expected to bug me the most! and i stopped (mostly) trying to figure out which character was supposed to be who at about 10% and senlinyiu’s masterful pen swept me away once more. i’m gonna suffer…… but im gonna be happy about it 😈
