I have had to return my copy of this book to the library and I am less than halfway through. I am thoroughly enjoying it and I will finish it when I can get hold of a copy again.

I am listening to this book from Audible. I have listened to about 9 hours so far and I am so bored. Why is this author compared to Dickens? Dickens wrote his stories as serials and unless they were interesting no one would have gone back to buy the story the next month. If This was serialised the magazine would not sell more on the strength of this story! The writing is ok but the story moves oh so slowly.
