Trauma, trauma, trauma.

Listening to the audiobook. I got it in one of Audible's 2 for 1 sales.

First time reading this one. I never got past Anne Of Ingleside because I just wasn't as interested when Anne became a background character. Also listening to the audiobook.

This is my first time reading Rainbow Valley. I first read the Anne series as a little girl and I've reread it many times since. I could never bring myself to read Rainbow Valley because it wasn't really about Anne. I'm reading & listening to the audiobook because it's free on Audible right now. I'm actually enjoying it, although Anne is much more of a background character.

Ah, Captain Jim....He always reminded me of my grandpa, also a sailor. 😥

On to Anne Of Windy Poplars.

Just finished Anne Of Avonlea. Now, on to Anne Of The Island. I'm switching back and and forth between a Kindle edition that has all 8 books in 1 volume and listening to the audiobooks. Barbara Caruso is the narrator and is very nice to listen to.

Audible has most of the Anne books available in their Plus cataloge until 8/26, so I have been listening to Anne Of Green Gables & now on to Anne Of Avonlea. I just love these books!

I'm seeing phrases such as "hung out together" & "boyfriend," which seem a little too modern for a story like this. Maybe a result of poorly researched translation. I don't know what language the book was written in. I'm just assuming I wasn't English based on the author's name.

Listening to the audiobook as it's not available on Kindle. It has a slow start but it's getting more interesting.

I'm not immediately drawn in like I was with After The Forest, although it's getting more interesting. I'm reading the Kindle version and listening to the audiobook, which helps. I dislike the nicknames the characters have for each other Cee, Vee, Gee. Too modern.

Reading the paperback edition. A nice departure from my usual book on Kindle, although more difficult for reading away from home. Perfect story for winter time.

I don't know if I want to continue with this one or not. I'm not giving up just yet but I've been struggling to find books I can stick with lately.

These books are kind of cozy fantasy even though they were written way before cozy fantasy was a thing.

Just finished the first audiobook (Dragonsong) & immediately downloaded this one. They're currently available in the Audible Plus catalog. I love the little fire lizards.

Listening to the audiobook. The intro was difficult to follow but once it got into Menolly's story, I really started to enjoy it.

Utheros's story is the same as that of Martin Luther. Interesting. 🤔

I just started this book this morning. I got the Kindle and Audible editions. I was listening during my drive to work and was laughing out loud. This author really has a way with words and the narrator is great at performing the witty prose.

Started reading this with my 7yr old daughter, last night. We already read the first book, which she enjoyed, so she wanted to read this one.

The tea ceremony & protocol is really interesting. I'm not a tea drinker but it always looks & sounds so cozy in books & on TV.

All witches are born with female sex organs but not all witches are women. 🙄 OK.

Great! Another love triangle. I do love Melanie Karsak's writing but I'm so tired of love triangles. 😫

Wow! Refreshing to read about slightly older characters. Main female is 37 & one of the males is older, as well. Love it!
