my childhood bestie, mary, texted me out of the blue (we check in maaybe once a year) asking for my address, following up a couple weeks later to let me know a box was arriving at my door. she wrote, “i saw this book and thought of you, your impeccable taste in music, and your culinary skills in equal measure.” when i saw the title i nearly cried - reader, she Sees me!! time cannot separate true love!!
