Sadly the narration of the audiobook is utter dogshit. The story is interesting, but it’s really hard to get into due to the choppy narration.

Listening to this as an audiobook is painful. The author is narrating the book, but he has huge issues with the pacing, reading it extremely slow and adding pauses in the middle of sentences, as if to highlight parts, but instead it is taking away from the story.

I giggled as two scientists were extremely blunt about their new sexual relationship. Made me think of Sheldon Cooper. New spider roommate.

Den är så fruktansvärt dåligt skriven. Bokens första stycke dukade fram hur resten av boken kommer låta. Skrivstilen är provocerande dålig, karaktärerna är osympatiska och gnälla. Vet inte hur många gånger man hon kasta in ordet ’vacuum’, så tjatigt..

These characters give me nothing. I don’t feel anything for them, so are they weak characters or does the story need more time to build up?

I like the fact that Phoebe just fucked with the brides’ mind by telling her that she came to this beautiful hotel to end her life. Who tells people such a thing?! Phoebe is a depressed divorcé that’s been cheated on and all she wants to do is enjoy a last meal at a beautiful resort.

I’m still not friends with this book. The pacing is really weird.
