I’ve come to a conclusion on why Lukan is personally the most grating of the three main characters, despite being very well written. On a personality level Lukan and I are incredibly similar to a fault, and it’s hard watching someone so similar to me make the same or similar mistakes to what I would have done in his situation.

Very happy I read The Fall before starting this book. The reading order guide is very useful.
