Shenard Robinson is starting Women, Race & Class
What is fascinating about Davis is that she articulates a position of solidarity in a way that evokes not a maternal repudiation of “whiteness” but she provides a foundation of equality as resonate in the identity of self. You cannot be other than who you are, and this should not be the lash that scars you for life.

Shenard Robinson is starting Black Male Outsider: Teaching as a Pro-Feminist Man
I understood heteronormative feminism to evoke two things (saliently): a heteronormative understanding of gender parity and gender fluidity. A must read to understand black male feminist who oscillate between societal experiences, which externally define the black male experience, and internal justification of self.

Shenard Robinson is reading Black Awakening in Capitalist America: An Analytic History
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It is hard to think of black people solely as the economic cash cow of whites, however, when one examines the flow of money into and out of the black community, how are we challenging the game heading into 2020s? In fifty years, will a new generation know wealth differently than previous generations? Such questions can’t be answered until we arrive at that door.
