Slow going, but not ready to give up

You know you’re in for a treat when the prologue has you hooked

don't understand everything, but so engaging!

This is already 🔥in my brain.

There is something I find distinctly unsettling about this book, though I can't quite put my finger on it. It is a fast moving story, but I can't shake a feeling that something is off, not in the world of the book, but in how it was written and who wrote it

This book is really really good! Surprise how much I'm enjoying it.

It's umm...racist? and sexist? Not really clear why I'm still listening...

Listening to this as an audiobook, but I think I like it and I feel conflicted about liking it...

Likelihood that I'll finish this feels low.
