4-% in and I’m gritting my teeth at how appalling Robert is and how the heroine, who has a bit of a strange name is taking this ill treatment from him!

I will persevere…since reviews are high for this book and the author has collaborated (?) with one of my fave authors - Judith McNaught but I have to say the writing style is entirely different!

This series is so good and this book is so good. I love her style of writing surprising also, and it’s so suspenseful with the love triangle and can I say I am rooting for the seemingly “bad” guy to end up with her?!!

Don’t want to give anything away, but I’m really loving this series - don’t know why it’s so underrated.

I don’t know how this author did it, but I’m almost loving this character more than Adam.

Now I’m torn as to whose team I’m on!!! Wow, just wow! Loving it!

I’m not feeling fully invested in this story or the characters.

I’m thinking this will not be one of my favorite novels from this author…

Ok I didn’t even realize I have read the 1st 2 novellas already years ago.. LOL

I guess it didn’t hit me until I finished the 1st novella did I realize it’s a trilogy of 3 novellas in one!! DUH!! LOL

I can't believe what a sleeper gem this book is and that it had been under the radar this whole time.

The dialogue - I love...
The inner thoughts - make this book all the more endearing with the change up of each chapter switching through the eyes of hero and heroine.

This gem is hard to put down!

This author is great!

Really out of the box with her words, which makes her storytelling all the more juicy, exciting & unpredictable in the best way possible!

Her hero, Toby, is like a Superman and swoon-worthy!

Really curious to know where this story goes as the synopsis is so not telling!!

Find this book when I googled for "hot coming of age romances" - noticed a few books I had already read and saw some of my GR friends good ratings so I read the sample e-book and was hooked!

I purchased the book and will start my journey reading it despite reading 3 other books at the same time! I needed something different from my re-read of "A Thousand Boy Kisses *75% completed as I don't want the dread now)...

Loved this book until it got a bit repetitive…

I had to take a break from this book as I felt the urge to re-read the first book, which I loved so much!

Currently, I’m reading 3 books but I will finish this book despite getting bored of it around the 75% mark!

Her writing is INCREDIBLE! The HERO already is to SWOON FOR!

15 pages in and I was already feeling emotional and connected to the heroine…

This book has been a disappointment so far. The author really needs to get off these characters that are so self-deprecating as it is getting really boring.

I like my heroine to have better self-esteem and confidence than one that is so down on herself.

Not the uplifting, romantic book I was expecting.

ADORED her debut book but each book after has been going in a downward slope. Truly Disappointed.

This book brings serious nostalgia, and I love that feeling so much - one of the best feelings.

Alex is completely a BBF with and despite all his little hang ups, OCD, high standards, and rigidness.

I think I like this story LEAST of the whole Westmoreland series so far.

Stephen’s story seems very rushed with a looser story line and after reading about his older brother, Clayton, the Duke of Claymore, it’s very hard I would suspect to follow up with a greater hero.

Maybe the courtship will start later in the book rather than at the beginning since this book has such a different premise and start?

I am giddy with excitement to finally read this book and squealing because it’s over 700 pages!!

I would normally dread reading a book so long, but since it’s a Judith McNaught book, I’m thanking my lucky stars that she didn’t listen to the naysayers and made it longer each and every time they criticize her and went with her gut instinct!

I got the library loan again on this book, and I’m just not feeling it with this book and author’s endless rant of nonsense…

Yawn…don’t know if I want to continue skimming or let the next victim (aka reader) in line for this ebook be tortured by this boring read…

God, I LOVE her books!! What an exceptionally gifted writer!!

So BRILLIANT!! Her writing makes you anticipate what is to come, and you just can’t wait for it to happen! The yearning…

From a writing standpoint, it is incredible how this author gets away with writing without the proper quotation and punctuation…

I know it’s annoying for some readers as it is for me! It’s quite confusing at times to differentiate if it’s the characters’ thoughts or spoken words.

So strange…

Can this author drone on less about politics and politic topics??

Her historical period pieces are like no other! Untouchable is she! Love her brilliance so much!

I’ve been savoring this book but also I’ve been very busy, but I have to say THIS BOOK IS JUST PURE ROMANCE AND COURTSHIP, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!

This author is a writing whiz! Adore this writing so much! Just as I did with her novel, Paradise.

Found this book on Kindle Unlimited and somehow really enjoying this teenager angst enemies-to-lovers filled drama & 1st author read! 😂

Picked this book up again to start reading and I'm still not connecting to the characters...their vibe, their dialogue...BLAH!

Maybe another day...with my limited time in reading these days, I don't want to devote my precious time to a story that I'm not feeling right away and have to force myself!

I really like ‘the background opener’ and how it set the mood and intro of the hero/heroine and sped into the present.

The pace, writing, and slight humor has made me really excited for the buildup of their romance.

Sigh...I'm so in love!!!
